“To each individual the world will take on a different connotation of meaning-the important lies in the desire to search for an answer.

Knowledge: We are given signs all the time whether we act upon them is up to us as individuals. Daily life can throw up many reasons not to acknowledge them or do anything about them, more so to find the time to discover what they all could possibly mean.
Knowledge is like brushing autumnal leaves from your garden or off your front step. You try to gather them up all in one go but often find the odd one is still yet to be collected and added to the pile.
Last night whilst brushing my teeth out of nowhere the name St Barnabas’ came to me.
Now I have faith and believe what I believe but l was unaware of a St. Barnabas and had to look him up to find out more.
Barnabas’ first act of encouragement was witnessed in his willingness to give of his own resources for the benefit of others.
In his case he sold his land so others could benefit. Like St Barnabas we too share our resources albeit in different ways. In many ways we all can offer help support and understand to those that need it or seek it.
A friendly hello. A warm smile or lending an ear to those who need to talk. They are all signs and do offer similar encouragement to those in need .
Later, in Acts, we’re told that the church at Jerusalem sent Barnabas to Antioch . The word encourage translates the Greek verb παρακαλέω parakaleo, which means to “call to one’s side.”[
Now Antioch has been brought to my attention before now- like I said we all receive signs but it is up to us to accept them and learn more if and when we can.
St. Barnabas is shown as someone who comes alongside others and encourages them to accomplish a task or finish a race.
In many ways we collectively do this whether consciously aware of that fact or not. Teaching, sharing knowledge and being on hand to offer advice all reflect encouragement.
Knowledge.
It was Barnabas who bridged the relationship between the church in Jerusalem and the church in Antioch (Acts 11:22)
It is not the first time I have been given a name linked to Antioch. On 23rd of October 2021 I did a meditation that had been recommended to me by a friend’s brother. Having started the meditation, during it I met my guide and also saw my mum , dad and brother but in light form . My guide showed me a book that would help me, the book of Antioch!

This was something I was unaware of and not even sure it existed.
After searching online I discovered St.Ignatius was apparently the patriarch of Antioch.
*Knowledge*
On the 5th of November 2021 I was looking at iconographic images of St.Ignatius and decided to draw the following image of him myself:
The next day whilst reading the news headlines on google , an article kept appearing on my screen which I never clicked on but it caught my eye. This linked to the book name in my meditation which is interesting. Additionally St. Ignatius date of birth in the catholic calendar is 17/10 which I thought was interesting for no other reason than it is close to my birthdate.
I am not sure what the connection to Antioch with me might be but two Saints I’ve never heard of have opened new avenues to explore.
I guess in many ways the names I have received are telling me to seek further knowledge to broaden my understanding.
True knowledge comes from knowing that you don’t know everything, which allows you to learn from everything.
