Let the light in

Overcoming death part 9

Let the light in:  Letting the light in can be easier said than done, not because it is hard but of because the battles that we may have to allow it to enter and exit.  Yes, exit and by that we mean “to be shared”.  Why is it that something we already have within can be so under used.

When we talk about overcoming death, we are talking about preparing to go home but also to understand “transition from physical returning to spirit”.  On top of this when we have a spiritual understanding on this earth, so much becomes easier to deal with, to accept or understand.

However, once we connect to the light, we feel that love, nothing is ever as painful, death loses all power.  We see and feel completely different.  It is not the end.

It is the start.

And, no one can ever make you think of feel any different.

In our western society life can be pretty hard for many.  We have pressure coming in from all angles, trying to keep roofs over our heads, families fed and bills paid can take up quite a bit of mental space.

Some of the most simple things which help are overlooked, or we cannot find 5 minutes to do a simple practice to help ourselves.  In these cases, we need to wait for a tough time, a dark time, a hard situation that we require some unknown help from above.

That help from above has always been, well about 2000 years at least, within!

We are beings of light and being of light we can improve many of the situations that we find ourselves. As we keep explaining and sharing, the moment the light within touches us or that for the briefest of moments it changes all in ways we cannot fathom.  The thing is, many of us do not have faith, trust of belief in what we share.

This is absolutely fine, in fact it is normal.

When its warm and sunny, life is good and we have blue sky’s we do not look for the umbrella.  However, when we know rain is coming, the cold and the wind.  We cloth ourselves in the right garments.  We expect bad weather, and any ray of sunshine is a blessing.

What about when life throws a curve ball, illness, death in the family, losing a home, a pet, losing a job, broken relationships, addictions, pain suffering, mental torture.  How do we prepare for bad conditions.  Yes, we could have a few pounds saved, but what good is money when we are grieving or when the funds run out.

Let the light in.

The Swedish have a saying, my friend would always say never trust the weather.  What he really meant is” there is no bad weather, only bad clothing. Regardless of what the weather does if we are clothed correctly, we will be ok.

In a spiritual context, what ever condition we find ourselves in we can become dressed correctly, we will be ok.

We become dressed in Light

Back to our umbrella.  How many of us look for the umbrella when the sun is shining, how many of us know where it is?  Are we prepared when we see grey clouds looming or the weatherman or weathergirl tell us that inclement weather is coming.

What about if the lights go out, do we know where our torches are?  What about when dark times come, can we weather the storm.  Is it better to know where our light is, to know that it works in pleasant times than searching around in the dark trying to learn how to make it work.  Problems are amplified by being in the dark.

By finding our own light, tough times become easier to deal with, grief and loss, are only a temporary separation.  Illness and disease become manageable.  We can become confident and know that we are never on our own and never have been.  All the horrible situations and experiences we have endured lose the power to create upset. Past traumas do not interfere with the present or shape our futures.   The light illuminates, it connects, it shows us Peace and how to find it.

Our interactions with others becomes different, improved.  We understand more and in these new understandings we become accepting, tolerant.  Our attitudes our actions lead us on a path of peace.  Our bodies, our vessels become strengthened, refined, old behaviours fall away.  Self-loathing, self-hatred, anger, hate, pride, emotions that cause pain seem to leave us.  The light fills us with love, kindness, temperance, self-control.

How we work, how we study, how we understand information, how we look at our world around us changes.  We begin to see truth and untruth, righteous and unrighteous, we want change, to help our fellow men and women.  By finding our own light we help others, we want to share the light, wisdom, knowledge, love.  Life becomes better, but we find a love, a love that is within.

This love, this light, this Nur, the Christ within wishes to connect, it seeks union, yoga.  It does not care for colour of skin, religion, culture, money, what book governs us.  The Christ light cannot to be controlled by book or person, the love of the father and the mother is unconditional.

All our treasures are already within,

our needs and solutions.

Seek and you shall find.

All we need is to open the door and when we let the son shine in, all will become clear, clement and Sonny.
