Ask for Help

In life we find moments where answers can be difficult to find and for some often ending with a feeling of failure .
***
Think of a flow of water ahead of it is a large rock or boulder, the water is momentarily stopped until it learns to find a way around it. Once it has it learned to flow around the object it is soon on its way again following its desired path .
***
Although the obstacle is heavy and dark the water is clear and bright. Not all problems can find a solution straight away but that is not to say with time, determination and clear thinking  obstacles cannot be removed from our path.
***
Not everyone can face all obstacles in life on their own. This is why it’s important to open up and realise we do not have to struggle on banging our individual heads in an attempt to solve our issues /problems .
***
The volume of water has the weight of itself pushing up and around the rock in order to move onwards. It eventually learns new ways to overcome the obstacles in its way by flowing around it.
***
Aesop’s fables about the crow and the pitcher comes to mind.
***
During  a particular spell of dry weather, a thirsty Crow found a pitcher with a little water in it. But the pitcher was high and had a narrow neck, the Crow could not reach the water after numerous attempts to quench its thirst.
***
Then an idea came to it. Picking up some small pebbles, it dropped them into the pitcher one by one. With each pebble the water rose a little higher until at last it was near enough so it could drink the water.
***
As you can see from the crow above perseverance can and will win the day. Although in this scenario the solution was individually found working with others can bare much fruit also.  We just have to be willing to stop struggling on our own and ask for help from those around us.
***
Asking for help is not a weakness it is in many ways a strength for we do not have to struggle on our own and reaching out can  be as strong as the volume of water building up behind the rock.
***
***
With the  help  of others we too can use the weight of our efforts to find satisfactory conclusions when we need  them the most.
***
The well-known phrase  “When all else fails…” comes to mind  and  perhaps it should end …. “Ask, ask and ask for help again”
