Witnessing Tragedy: This article is written with the intention to help those who have images and memories in their minds from what they may have seen.  If there are any who are suffering, then please get in touch or come and speak to us on our next day of healing.  We would suggest having a little chat with Paul over a cuppa and piece of cake.

As we always say, sharing a problem or speaking to someone can free us from a lot of pain.  Sometimes we need a different way of looking at things for it to make sense. Today’s article will be focusing on those who have witnessed accidents and seen death.  We will also consider in this article those who have witnessed suicides and violent death.

However, if any are struggling with other tragic events please come and speak with the team.  We will tackle other aspects at a later date.

Many of our readers and those who visit us on our healing days are aware that on many occasions we give spiritual understandings to situations.  What this means is we look at something from the perspective of the spirit within.  We also share spiritual laws so what we may see in the physical may not be the whole picture.

Witnessing tragedy.

Many of us throughout life will not be exposed to situations that increase emotional chaos outside of normal life.  What we mean here is when a person passes over in front of us. We might have witnessed an accident, or someone has chosen to take their own life.  Some people however become hardened to these pictures and in some cases, it becomes the norm.

When we see these events, we can be shocked to the core, and it can become very difficult to unsee the event.  This can take much time to dissipate or for us to go back to a normal life.  These events can also change our whole life and bring on great periods of emotional instability and mental trauma.

It is easy for us to put ourselves in the position of the person who has been hurt, to compare, to value the loss of life and to value our own.  It may stimulate fear of the same happening again or reoccurring.  Struggling to drive or get in car, after an accident or witnessing a car crash as an example.

We need our mind to forget

Our own sensitivity can affect how we perceive and deal with what we have witnessed.  When we can, it is useful to speak to someone and get these thoughts and feelings out but also, we need to know how to reset emotions and emotional turbulence.  We also need to understand the rest of the story when witnessing death or tragedy.

Rest of the story, what do you mean?

How many of us have watched a film, where we see the ending at the beginning or watched a film where the hero apparently dies only to come back to life in the next film.

We may watch something online where we see a car accident, then we are relieved when we see the driver climb out of the car unscathed. However, when we see someone get hurt this can be a lot harder to deal with.  In many cases we can think why, or “what a waste of life”, “how can someone be so evil”, “so sad” or be very upset.  We may also think what drives a person to take their own life.  These thoughts can create so much anguish.

For those of our readers that are troubled, those who cannot talk or have no one to talk to at this time, we will offer a different way of looking at things.  When a light in the physical world diminishes it returns to the Spiritual Planes. All that has happened is that the physical shell has released the spirit.

For those who are old enough to remember the film “Ghost”, the scene where Sam becomes a spirit, is a good understanding. It also shows the light coming to collect us. These clips can be found on YouTube. Our physical life is only a small part of our journey.

In the film, one of the main characters dies but he does not realise he has passed over, he continues to chase the man who attacked him.  Eventually he turns around and sees his physical shell laying on the ground, he is not in pain, injured or hurt. His story has continued on the spiritual planes.

Unseen to the physical eyes

For those who are troubled by what the physical eyes have witnessed or the memories that replay, we can self-heal.  This is a simple process to continue the story, to know what we have seen is not the end.  The people or person are not suffering, feel pain and are very much, still here.

The process of self-healing is quite simple.  The light knows our intentions and what we are there for.

We imagine ourselves in a beautiful place, a garden full of flowers or the sun on our face.  The light we are sitting in is perfect and we feel happy.  We become aware of a smiling face or faces, genuine and glowing.

We feel at peace, as they approach, we begin to wonder, “I am sure this is the person I saw”, there is no upset here, no pain, “you’re ok”, yes, they answer.  Imagine them dusting down their shoulders, smiling, don’t be troubled, see them untroubled, free of pain see their radiance, the golden glow around them. How can this be, you ask? You only saw part of the story – they reply.

Any damage from the physical world is lifted off, they smile and tell you to let go of the shock, you feel relieved, just as when we watch a film that we like and the lead character escapes an incident unharmed.  We question, “but I saw…”, “I am good, don’t worry” they reply.  As they wave goodbye for their onward journey, we bask in the light, we feel our emotional energy returning, returning to its normal shape, resetting.

Self-Healing

As we practice this self-healing, we will find ourselves just sitting in this light, a beautiful golden glow, knowing the departed, the travellers are ok.  We will find ourselves smiling, our understanding of life and death will change.  We will know that this physical earth is only a small part of the story.

Healing rays are always present.  We choose how we look at things; the more that we connect to these rays the more we change how we see things and how they affect us.  As we focus on these new pictures and understanding, the old will hold no power, they will become obsolete and not be able to inflict emotional or mental pain.

We will leave you with this thought.  What we have shared today, there is more, there is more provision, more love and more compassion, the travellers are well cared for,

This in only part of the story!
