Hi, I’m Lisa,
Yoga and Pilates Sessions with Lisa: I have 20 years’ experience within the health/fitness industry. I am one of the owners of Life Balance. I teach Pilates and Vinyasa flow Yoga and give private sessions and smaller group sessions.
I’ve developed my knowledge and skills that over the years to help peoples health, wellness, aches, pains and mental health. I am always planning and researching how I can further my knowledge and skills, therefore being able to offer additional services.
My passions are Yoga, Pilates, fitness, wellbeing and life balance. I have had great success in helping people with posture and health problems.
I teach at Absolute Yoga in Crosby https://www.absoluteyogacrosby.co.uk/ and I also offer 1-1’s in the comfort of your own home. I can bring all props if needed so all you need to do is make the change!

Health benefits of Pilates
Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Similar to Yoga, Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility.
Pilates gives you an increased muscle strength and tone, particularly of your abdominal muscles, lower back, hips and buttocks (the ‘core muscles’ of your body) balanced muscular strength on both sides of your body. Pilates enhances muscular control of your back and limbs and improves stabilisation of your spine. Essential for sports men and women.
