Chakras 3 Rainbows: Our article today is more of a thinking and questioning piece. As you know we do not talk about chakras. This is because what we may be taught may not be quite correct and there are easier ways to bring about changes that we want.
We will start with a question: The spiritual meaning of a rainbow is hope. If this means hope why are the colours of the chakras the opposite way?
We have written in the past about other types of yoga teachers. Today we will introduce another but from a different perspective. His name is Isaac Newton. For those looking to understand chakras his work will open up some interesting questions and contradictions.
The reason why we introduce Isaac Newton is because over 300 years ago he wrote a book called, “Opticks”. His book explains light and properties of light. If we really want to understand chakras we need to learn and study light. This being said an aide to understanding Newton is the work of Goethe (pronounced Gurt-ta) and his theory of colour.
Before we go any further this short video will explain a few things.
If we have watched the video you will see there is more to colour than what we think and the perception of colour can be influenced. Colour is produced in the mind. This being said are the colours of the chakras really what we are led to believe? If the colours are so important how would they be explained to a person who has always been blind?
However, when we can look at something in a different way, we may uncover some interesting information. Remember when we look at something it changes! Colours are produced by different wavelengths/ vibrations, this gives us the colour spectrum. Red being the longest and violet the shortest with the other colours in between. The wavelengths are detected by the eye and colour is created in the mind.

This leads us to our question.
Looking at a rainbow it is very clear to see that red is on the top and violet is on the bottom. If we use a prism to split the light, we always see red on top, this is because red light bends the least. If red is always on top why is red the bottom of the chakras? If red is a grounding colour, why is it not at the bottom of the spectrum?

Is the picture wrong, are the lessons we have been taught wrong or is there some missing information? Are the colours individual or are they connected, surely there is a reason? What is the missing information, or have we purposely been misdirected? what are the consequences of this?

As we have explained at the start of this article the spiritual meaning of a rainbow is “Hope”. The rainbow is created by light being refracted by the water droplets. This brings us back to our question. If the rainbow means hope, what does a sequence of colours the opposite way mean?
We could consider the auric field and this could make sense if looking from the perspective of looking inward but there must be more. The aura constantly changes depending on our thoughts, feelings, what we have eaten and what we have said to name a few considerations. Something else is going on!
Chakras are controlled by the spirit within. They are controlled by the light,
so what is the inversion of these colours all about?
When it comes to spiritual knowledge colour is a huge subject (not to mention the healing rays). The more we learn of colour the more we will want to understand the light. Understanding colour will help us feel differently. We must now ask ourselves this question. As we have shared, the physical has no control over the chakras but what are we doing to ourselves if we try and impose a colour over the top of them. Where did this teaching come from? Did it come from the light?
Once again, we must learn from flowers, the Iris or as they say in France, Irise. The adjective that means Iridescent or shimmering with the colours of the rainbow. Those of our readers who have truly seen a chakra will know exactly what we mean! We will finish where we started. Newton taught LAWS that means they never change whatever the situation. We may find we need to go back to the to the root, the source, the LIGHT.
The light that unifies from within.
When we learn from the light within, everything changes, the sequences will change but the laws remain the same.
Our spiritual practices must be based on Order, Law, and not theory.
We must always check our source as our roots may be tainted.
We will leave all our readers with something to help connect. On a double rainbow the colours become reversed. Happy searching.
We hope you have questions! TBC
