Yogic Hot Chocolate:  This article has been a long time coming but we thought that we would explain the spiritual mechanics and contradictions between Yoga and “Cacao ceremonies”. Our aim is always to inform and let the reader decide what they want to do.  It is unfair not to share with the participants the negative effects that may happen in their own minds. We are going to ask this question.

Can a cup of hot chocolate really open the heart?

Firstly, we need to know why a person wishes to participate in one of the ceremonies.  What does opening the heart really mean, what do we want from it.  What do we expect to happen.  Do we want enlightenment or have a happier life.  Are we looking for a spiritual connection.  Truth is cacao ceremonies will point us in the wrong way.  What many of us are really looking for is the restoration of our Divine Connection.  This is an inward journey and no amount of hot chocolate will change this.

Secondly, Shamanic practices have no place in a yoga studio.  The owners can do what they like but the path of yoga is very different.  We would say quite the opposite. Also, why drink cacao over say a cup of black or green tea? Why do we need a ceremony?  Can we really blend the shamanic path with the path of unity?  Are there any dangers?  Is the teacher aware of the spiritual dangers.  Can the students see what is taking place in the spiritual realms.

Let’s investigate.  Most of us are aware of the benefits of dark chocolate but can it really change our behaviour?  Cacao being high in polyphenols has many health benefits but then again so do many fruits, vegetables, nuts and berries. What about the improved heart health from polyphenols.

We may be onto something here.

We also have flavonoids that support cardiovascular health.  Is this going to open our hearts.  Can a physical drink open our hearts spiritually.  Mmmm!  It must be the nitric oxide production, now we are getting somewhere!  Increasing blood flow, oxygen from the heart, magnetism influencing our torsion fields. Surely, we can increase blood flow and blood health from fruit, berries, vegetables and fish.

Based on that assumption every time we eat the above were opening the heart!

Let us all remind ourselves, just where Lord Krishna told us to drink hot chocolate to open our hearts.  Where is it in Patanjali’s teachings?  It is not there, we are blending paths, and this is dangerous as we will explain. Unfortunately, in a lot of yoga studios alarming practices are conducted as gimmicks or to make money without understanding the consequences.

Don’t forget how serotonin lowers inhibitions or endorphins and dopamine improve mood- temporarily by  creating emotional comfort.

We could also consider the odic force of the food but there must be something more in the background, OH the ceremony.  Does our teacher really know what risky practices they are opening us up to? Maybe they do but probably not!

How many of us would knowingly participate in a magic ceremony if we could see the dark spirits lurking in the shadows?

As we have always written and shared, a spiritual path cannot be blended, regardless of how much someone tells you they can.  The path of the Yogi is complete opposite to the shaman, but why is this?  How many of the general public know how shamanism works.

Shamanism is for the people of the middle and South Americas.  That is their way. The life, culture, way of life and spiritual evolution is different to that of those incarnated into the West. Dependant on where we are born our spiritual paths are different, our minds are different. The energies are different; there are spiritual laws in place.

We will ask again, why does a cup of hot chocolate open the heart?

Does it really open the heart?

What we will write now will not be liked by many, but truth is the truth.

Shamans make a deal with the dark side to leave you alone at the expense of something far more valuable than we realise. They will tell you different but that is how it is.

It is the complete opposite to the Yogi who wishes to bring balance and harmony to your physical body and spirit within.

We cannot blend paths, the uninformed practitioner has no clue what is really happening.

What we have found and our experience of shamanism is very different.  We have found it is the complete opposite to opening the heart, it closes.  Making a deal with the dark side will not allow light into the heart.  There is more, a lot more, if cacao is so useful in opening the heart why the ceremony.  What does a ceremony do, what and who are we trying to attract, are our readers aware of what is being attempted.

The cacao is used to mask what is really happening in the unseen.

If we have closed the heart what is beginning to happen? In all yoga studios there is light and dark with the dark always in place waiting for their chance to infiltrate and inflict pain, problems or mental instability.  The more “new age” tarot and angel cards and manifestations ceremonies etc we conduct in our studios the more chaos we will cause for the students and ourselves as teachers until we are of no use to the dark side and tossed aside.

Our intentions maybe good but messing with esoteric practices, especially shamanism will not end well. Yoga is to help us find our light not get lost in the dark.

These entities in our studios being fed by energy creation wait patiently.  “It’s ok ill waft a bit of sage”.  Sage won’t help you here!  Turn off the lights and what happens, it gets dark quick. Shamanism and magic are complete opposite to yoga (this includes white magic).

Very simply, close off the light, then the dark can come close.

The shamanic practice becoming the point of change.

There are a lot more spiritual elements involved, our light, our safety mechanism has been dimmed, we have allowed the shaman to intercede.  We have opened our heart but turned the light off.  Where there is light there can be no dark.

Be careful what we invite into our auras!

Would we really make a deal with dark spirits?

At what expense!

We must always be aware of some of the small changes that will occur in those who organise and do these ceremonies.  The person may all of a sudden become all knowing apparently, they may change externally that is minute or not noticed but there will be small traits that will arise.  Internally of course, the chaos is within.  They may profess to be spiritual and lead us down a good path but really, they are leading us down a blind alley.

Besides, no one should follow the leader.  We should follow the law.

Learn the laws to make your own decisions.

All the time the entity that has infused with participant or teacher, using them to lead others astray. Look for the traits that are not of an open heart. Listen to vibrations in the voice. Look for the interactions with others, are we arguing with others? Is it my way or the highway? Do we feel lost, frustrated or off key.  Has what we shared in these ceremonies become gossip, the dark are no keepers of trust.

We should observe.  These entities feeding all the time, getting stronger and stronger the more our hearts close, changing a person so we no longer know them. The more ceremonies we do the more strength we give these unseen spirits.  It is up to the reader if they believe us or not.

Our yoga classes have been hijacked and misused.

It is not only yoga studios where these ceremonies take place.

Before we take part in any cacao ceremony know what is happening in the unseen, does our hot chocolate really open the heart? A magic ceremony is used to infuse the cacao and to try and force open the heart through ingestion, poisoning, masking sensations.  Our blood has now changed giving temporary elations. Good spirit does not work this way. Our own free will being our own downfall.

What we will experience will be synthetic (see our article Wisdom, knowledge, symbols, danger). These elations leading to misery.  The more we participate the more we will close the door of our hearts. We believe we need more ceremonies, thus creating more pain the more we try to open them.  The chaos in the mind unseen.

We cannot pay another to open our hearts,  we cannot buy God, it comes from the light within.

To open our hearts, we do not need to rely on a shaman or external forces or spirits that will bring pain into our lives.  We all carry the Divine Spark within, the spark waiting to be kindled and by connecting to our own light, we change, grow and evolve.  The loss and disconnection decease and once again we feel our Divine connection, yoga, union, yoked. We are no longer lost!

There is a safer and simpler way and begins the process of self-healing and inward journey.

Place our hand on our heart. We simply say,

I AM LIGHT

We see a beautiful light surrounding our hearts our bodies,

those that we love, care for, sick, troubled, lost, our so-called enemies,

let that light grow until it guides our thoughts, actions and deeds.

Look at all those around us and see that same beautiful light within.

It will grow, we will feel it, others will see it.

Others will feel it.

Everything changes for the better.
