A Beautiful Journey

Lady of the lake

 A Beautiful Journey.

I would like to talk about dying, as a society we really find this difficult. I have worked in palliative care for ten years now and I really hope this article helps bring you peace and comfort from a lady who has seen many people embark from this journey to their next.

The return home is a beautiful journey.

In the healthcare world when a person has an incurable disease the professionals embark on breaking of the news. It is referred to as having a “difficult conversation”.

I have been privileged to work with people who are on the transition from this life to the next.

I would like to say when a person dies it is the most beautiful experience I have ever felt.

The reason for this is the feeling of pure unconditional love when a person leaves this earthly plane to begin their journey to the next – spirit world.

When a person has taken their last breaths, I have on every occasion felt the love in the room.

The feeling is from the energy in the room. From spirits who come to help and loved ones who have died, who are coming back to help with the next journey.

I can give an example of this. One day I walked into a room to a lady who was nearing her transition.

She was in the room alone talking. As I walked in, she said that I had interrupted “her Betty” speaking to her the lady was in really good spirits and very happy after the conversation she had.

I spoke to her daughter about it and “her Betty” was the lady’s sister who had died many years ago.

A Beautiful Journey- The lady of the Lake.

When death is imminent the person will go into a semi-conscious state. They can still hear you, hearing is the last of our senses to go.

There is NO pain or suffering here.

The organs are shutting down. You will see peace, perfect peace with the person.

This is the point the body fades and the journey into spirit is starting. They are returning home. They place where we all belong our true home as a spirit.

I feel the biggest obstacle in death is the fear. I totally understand it and understand why.

But if you can take anything from this article, I would love it to be “ a beautiful journey from this life to the next”

After They Are Gone

When someone we love passes away,

We ache, but we go on;

Our dear departed would want us to heal,

After they are gone.

Grief is a normal way to mend

The anguish and pain in our hearts;

We need time to remember and time to mourn,

Before the recovery starts.

Let’s draw together to recuperate,

As we go through this period of sorrow;

Let’s help each other, with tender care

To find a brighter tomorrow.
